The Dream House, is a series of photos made on 35mm film and then printed at different sizes on silver gelatin. A combination of different houses, motels, and businesses around Saratoga Springs. Affectionately called “Frankenhouse”, the idea was the combine these spaces to create the ideal home. The Dream House is a facade, an idealized version of home. A longing for escape and sense of safety. On the outside it is a shelter but there is no inside, flat and empty. Cut and collaged together by hand it is a dream.
